Story
The Island of Ischia off the coast of Naples Italy is the heritage home of the owners and of course the origins of the restaurant name. A Mediterranean lifestyle with sun bathed garden courtyards shaded with grape vines and olive trees surrounded by ancient castle ruins is synonymous for the island and are the foundation of the inspiration for the warehouse conversion design solution. Castello Aragonese is at the heart of the island and the evolution of architectural forms and styles which have shaped it through the years are reflected in the proposed new building form.
